We'll have September's club meeting before the next race on 9/12. Meeting will be at 8am followed by sign-ins. Racing should start around 10am.

Registration forms for the Balloon Classic are posted here (also linked under Special Event Info on the Home page). Get registered by 9/17. Late registrations cost more and your trophy may have to be mailed instead of awarded at the race.

Novice training will be Saturday before the race from 2pm - 3pm. Race sign-ins start at 4pm.

Michael Fanelli raced great at last weekend's Back to School Battle USAC race in Tampa, Florida. He won both Hvy 160 and Hvy WF features! Also he finished 2nd in B and 5th in Hvy Honda mains. More details are on the USAC Website

Joshua’s first time on Dirt in over a year had some great finishes. He finished 8th in Hvy 160 and 3rd in Lt World Formula. He won 2 heat races in the World Formula going from the back to 1st two times in the same race. He made things exciting!

Grands Results:
Five drivers from RRQMA made the A Mains at the Western Grands in Austin,TX. Michael Fanelli put all three of his cars in the A Mains and finished 4th in Heavy Mod, 5th in Heavy 160 and 7th in Heavy World Formula. Gavin Lohse finished 5th in Junior Honda, Callie Justus finished 6th in Senior Honda, Sarah Skaggs finished 6th in Heavy B, and Cameron Morga finished 8th in Senior Stock and 9th in Light B.

Other results from Austin are as follows:
* Cameron Morga finished in 8th place in B Main in Light Mod
* Ryan Ford finished 8th in the Jr. Honda B Main
* Shane Skaggs finished in 10th place in the B Main in Light Mod and 6th place in the D Main in Light 160
* Sarah Skaggs finished in 9th place in the C Main in Heavy 160
* Callie Justus finished in 8th place in the E Main In Light 160
* Brooklyn Green finished in 7th place in the D Main In Senior Honda and 6th place in the E Main in Light 160
* Jenna Lohse finished in 10th place in the D Main In Senior Honda
* Travis Oldfield finished in 11th place in E Main in Senior Honda. Travis gets the hard luck award as he was crashed out during warm ups of his race

USAC hosted the Second Annual Battle at the Brickyard Race at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis the week after the Eastern Grands. A total of 37 main events were run and RRQMA drivers did really well with Michael Fanelli and Joshua Jackson winning.

- Michael Fanelli put all three cars in the A mains and was Champion in Heavy World Formula. He also finished 4th in Heavy 160 and 6th in Heavy 120.

- Joshua Jackson put all three cars in the A mains and finished as follows: Champion in Mod, 7th in B and 8th in World Formula

- Cameron Morga put 2 cars in the A Mains and finished 2nd in Stock and 8th in Mod. He also finished 6th in the Light 160 E Main

Currently in the National USAC Next Generation Point Series Michael Fanelli is #1 in Heavy 120 and he is #2 in both Heavy 160 and Heavy World Formula. Joshua Jackson is #2 is the B class, 5th in Mod, and 11th in Heavy World Formula.

The Gow and Lohse families sponsored the Junior Honda and Light B classes at the Eastern Grands in Memory of Randy Gow, who lost his life serving our country.

Several RRQMA drivers competed in the Eastern Grands at the Mini Indy Speedway at the Indianapolis Fairgrounds from June 27th to July 3rd 2010. A total of 553 cars competed in 101 main events. Results for our drivers are as follows:

- Joshua Jackson put all three of his cars in the A Mains and finished 6th in Heavy B, 3rd in Heavy Mod and 5th in Heavy World Formula

- Cameron Morga put two cars in the A Mains with one car transferring twice as the X car. He finished 5th in Senior Stock and 10th in Light B. He also finished 9th in the Light Mod E Main.

- Michael Fanelli put his Heavy Mod in the A Main and was involved in a first lap accident and finished 8th. He finished 6th in the D Main in Heavy 160 and 10th in the D main in Heavy World Formula after losing a fuel line.

- Gavin Lohse finished 8th in the Junior Honda G Main

- Jenna Lohse finished 9th in the Senior Honda K Main

Michael Fanelli and Joshua Jackson raced in the USAC Mickyard race this past Week. Joshua finished as the Hvy B Champion!! Also he finished 3rd in Mod and 7th in World Formula. Michael finished 2nd in Hvy Honda, 5th in Hvy 160, and 5th in World Formula. Great job to both our drivers!
