Thank you to all who came out to the National Race, both the traveling racers and the RRQMA alumni to help put on this event.

I've heard from several people that it is not possible to get to the track address using a navagation device.

You might try this address which will take you by our track which is located at NAPA SPeedway:

Please try 100 John Dantis Rd SW Albuquerque NM. If this works in your nav system turn right at the three way stop when you get to NAPA Speedway and then turn left into the first gate at the track. We are in the north west corner of the parking lot.

If that doesn't work get off I-40 at exit 149 heading south and turn almost immediately on the frontage road heading west. There is signage to the NAPA Speedway from there.

We will not have a paking person at the track to assist parking until 3:00 on Thursday. If you arrive early please do not setup until you are directed to your spot. Call Rich at 505-250-3111 for info.

The USAC "Gen Next" round 3, will be hosted by RRQMA April 26-28. Please call Rich Reif: 505-250-3111 if you will be traveling to ABQ before the race and require trailer storage. There is also parking available if you are planning on attending our club race on April 21.

Just a reminder the club will host an arrive and drive promo day March 23 from 9am to 3pm. This event allows kids to come out and experience driving a real race car. This is a great way to get some interest in the Club and quatermidget racing. Please invite anyone who may be interested to attend. A flyer with details is in the download area.

On Feb 23, Saturday at noon we'll have a work party to paint the outside of the boards on the east side of the track. With enough people this should not take to long.

After some research we have decided to try a new location for the February Club Meeting. The meeting will be held at Mario's Pizzaria at 5700 4th St NW just off Montano. We will be meeting in their private room and will have wait staff available for ordering food.

The Club will have a booth at the Supernationals Car Show Feb 1-3 at the Lujan Building, Expo NM. Please stop by and visit us and help out. This event has been a great way to attract new members to the Club. Contact Ryan Stelzig for mre info 514-9042

On Sunday January 20, 2013 the Quarter Midget family lost Dan Matich after a long battle with cancer. Dan was one of the most genuinely nice people I have ever met and was a great supporter of our Sport, nationally, regionally and at the local level. His family attended all of the Regional and National events at RRQMA that I can remember. Dan and Connie sponsored a trophy class at last years Balloon Classic even though his daughter Amber had retired from quarter midget racing. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
