Promo Day

Promo Day

Just a reminder the club will host an arrive and drive promo day March 22 from 9am to 3pm. This event allows kids to come out and experience driving a real race car. This is a great way to get some interest in the Club and quatermidget racing. Please invite anyone who may be interested to attend. A flyer with details is in the download area.

Meeting Location

The meetings will be held at Mario's Pizzaria at 5700 4th St NW just off Montano. We will be meeting in their private room and will have wait staff available for ordering food. @6:00 pm

The Club will have a booth at the Supernationals Car Show Jan 31-feb 2 at the Lujan Building, Expo NM. Please stop by and visit us and help out. This event has been a great way to attract new members to the Club. Contact Ryan Stelzig for more info 514-9042

Track Directions

I've heard from several people that it is not possible to get to the track address using a navagation device.

You might try this address which will take you by our track which is located at NAPA SPeedway:

Please try 100 John Dantis Rd SW Albuquerque NM. If this works in your nav system turn right at the three way stop when you get to NAPA Speedway and then turn left into the first gate at the track. We are in the north west corner of the parking lot.

If that doesn't work get off I-40 at exit 149 heading south and turn almost immediately on the frontage road heading west. There is signage to the NAPA Speedway from there.

Dan Matich

On Sunday January 20, 2013 the Quarter Midget family lost Dan Matich after a long battle with cancer. Dan was one of the most genuinely nice people I have ever met and was a great supporter of our Sport, nationally, regionally and at the local level. His family attended all of the Regional and National events at RRQMA that I can remember. Dan and Connie sponsored a trophy class at last years Balloon Classic even though his daughter Amber had retired from quarter midget racing. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

The Oldfield-Stelzig dive team was able to drain the swimming pool in the middle of our track a few days ago. We also found out our new wall makes a great pool toy!

Thanks to Duane and Ryan for getting this cleaned up, and lets hope for good weather this weekend!
